NHL Scoreboard Overlay for OBS
A broadcast-style NHL scoreboard and scorebug for hockey watch parties, reaction streams and postgame shows. Pick tonight’s game and it fills in logos, colors and records, then follows the game on its own: score, period and clock, shots on goal, the power play and its countdown, and the empty net, from puck drop to the final horn, overtime included.

THE RINK BAR
A full-width hockey bar that plots the last dozen shot attempts where they were taken, goals lit and ringed. Each club’s card carries shots on goal, the goalie in net, and who is in the box and for how long.
WHO IS ON THE ICE
Show the skaters and goalie each team has on the ice, with headshots and numbers, updating as lines change.
GOAL SCORERS
The Elegant scorebug rotates the goal scorers under the score, so a late joiner can see who scored without asking chat.
STREAM DECK + COMMAND CENTER
Show, hide and switch overlays without touching OBS — from the dashboard, the Command Center board or Stream Deck keys.

Each account gets a unique browser source URL. Paste it into OBS as a 1920×1080 browser source.

The overlay updates itself through the game and stops at the final. Show, hide or restyle it live — changes apply instantly.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I have to update the score manually?
No. Pick the game from your dashboard and the overlay fills in and updates itself from live data — score, clock, status, logos and team colors — all the way to the final.
Does it show power plays and penalties?
Yes. The power play shows with its countdown and the empty net shows when a goalie is pulled. On the Rink bar each club’s card also names who is in the penalty box and how long is left.
Can I show the lines before puck drop?
Yes. The lines board in the Graphics app shows projected forward lines and defense pairs before the game, then switches to tonight’s lines once enough of the game has been played.
Does it work with Streamlabs, XSplit or vMix?
Yes. The overlay is a standard browser source URL, so it works in OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop, XSplit, Meld, evmux and anything else that can render a web page — no plugins or downloads.
