What’s the catch with the free scoreboard?
No catch, but honest limits: the overlay carries StreamSlayers branding, you get 90 minutes of overlay time per day (resets at midnight UTC), scores update every 60 seconds, and one style per app. Real live data, real overlays — the paid plans remove the limits.
Can I use it for esports or local events?
Yes — the free scoreboard includes manual scoring, so you can run any two-team event yourself from the dashboard: esports matches, rec leagues, school games, charity tournaments. Manual updates appear on screen instantly.
Do I have to update the score manually?
No. Pick the game from your dashboard and the overlay fills in and updates itself from live data — score, clock, status, logos and team colors — all the way to the final.
Does it work with Streamlabs, XSplit or vMix?
Yes. The overlay is a standard browser source URL, so it works in OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop, XSplit, Meld, evmux and anything else that can render a web page — no plugins or downloads.
